Juvenile offenders are individuals under the age of 18 who have been accused of a crime. Juvenile offender cases are generally handled by a Juvenile Court that takes special considerations for the rehabilitation of the minor. In some instances, Juvenile Offenders can be prosecuted as adults. Juvenile offeses are called Delinquency Cases under Arizona Law. Juvenile Courts also handle matters that relate to the rights of parents and children. These are called Dependency Cases under Arizona Law.
